Polygamy is back on the menu, boys.
It wasn’t supposed to be this way. During the debates over same-sex marriage we were assured that the slope wasn’t slippery and that suggestions that polygamy might be next were a form of ridiculous alarmism propagated by homophobic bigots and repressed religious weirdos.
Once again, the people dismissed as prejudiced prudes are being proven right. With the help of a rebrand to polyamory (which sounds less patriarchal), polygamy is having a moment. As Glenn Stanton recently explained for the Federalist, polyamory advocates are running the same playbook that same-sex marriage advocates did—and it’s working. As he noted, “Eleven U.S. cities now proudly offer the poly-minded various bundles of legal protections. Seattle’s clownish city council was the latest to do so, giving the movement its first truly landmark development.” …wng.org
Shouldn’t that image show a muslim grouping as that is why polygamy is growing in the West? Along with child brides, honor killings, fraud, graping etc,.?

Two oil super tankers carrying more than 4.5 million barrels of crude oil struck naval mines in the southern part of the Strait of Hormuz after attempting to pass along an unauthorized route, the IRGC naval service reported.
According to reports, explosions and fires disabled the ships' engines, forcing both crews to abandon the vessels.
Iran has repeatedly warned vessels against bypassing routes it has authorized in this strategically important waterway.

Pope Leo XIV appointed Irish Sister Mary Teresa Barron on October 8, as president of the Pontifical Mission Societies (Missio) and adjunct secretary of the Vatican's Dicastery for Evangelization.

Too many ambitious women unsuited for marriage running around in the sin nodding church. In better times she’d be a char woman quietly going about her days work.
An interesting exchange here between William F. Buckley Jr. and Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen from 1970, where the good Bishop’s answers sound incredibly contemporary and not entirely satisfactory. Almost as if the Church has been in stasis for 50 years.
One cannot promote VII without bashing almost 2000 years of Catholicism that preceded it. Sheen does it in this interview.
